Japanese Showa Denko K.K.(a very big material supplier) has decided to increase its chloroprene rubber price in markets outside Japan as from shipments on April 1, 2012.
At present, SDK’s chloroprene rubber price doesn’t fully reflect the increases in raw material costs. Thus, SDK has concluded that it has no alternative but to ask its customers to bear the cost increase in order to ensure the stable supply of chloroprene rubber and the continuation of its business.
